ADDITONAL MANAGER INFORMATION


USA of Indiana Travel and Rec Plus Field Days


Each season USA of Indiana needs volunteer help in getting the fields ready for seasonal play and events.  See Volunteer page.

GAME FIELD ASSIGNMENTS 

Check to be sure your game has a reserved field and for field availability before you reschedule a game.

Travel and Rec Plus Field Care assignments Excel

Each USA of Indiana Travel and Rec Plus team is assigned a field for weekly lining and maintenance for the season. Please line your fields on Thursday or Friday each week.  Field Care includes and is not limited to:

1) Weekly lining of the fields preferably on Thursday or Friday April-June 15 and August-November 5

2) Maintenance of safety of the fields including goal nets and anchor system

3) Trash pick-up and putting corner flags away in storage if forgotten by last team playing

4) Turf management for dangerous locations on and around the playing field (including repair of ruts, hole, hard dirt surfaces, and other dangerous areas)


Ref fees: Calculate how much to collect from parents to pay refs for your home games.

EACH TEAM IS TO STAFF ONE TOURNAMENT MANAGER SHIFT WITH TEAM MANAGER, ASSISTANT TEAM MANAGER OR TOP VOLUNTEER PARENT.

Training fields must be listed on a USA of Indiana Certification of Insurance.


If the team intends to use a field not listed here, you must contact Thomas Geisse, a week prior with the name of the person who gave you permission to use the facility and the name and address of the facility. The following fields are already insured.

Team Based Fundraisers

Each team should plan to raise $1000 per season to help reduce the cost to players for League Fees, Ref Fees, Tournaments.  It is important that you deposit charitable donations with the Club.

Teams report $1000 success stories:

Crew Car Wash, team buys car wash tickets at a discount and sells at full price, keeping difference.  Ask Geisse for letter to Mike’s after you make arrangement with Crews  ”Your organization does not pay anything up front. You will receive your tickets the last week of the month prior to your selling month. You will have the entire month to sell the tickets that you ordered. At the end of the month, you will turn in all unsold tickets and bring in a check for $4 for each ticket that you sold and add in the printing fee for the tickets you ordered.  If you have not applied online, please apply so we have your month reserved. If you have applied online, we will need your letter 45 days prior to your selling month. Let us know if you have any other questions.″

Pizza Make & Sell, team literally makes pizza’s at full kitchen and sells for profit.

Discount Card, sell $10 cards for discounts at area fast food and services.  Ask for more info.

Non Profit Group Programs: clean Speedway, Lucas Oil, Conseco, or man concessions at same and Klipsch Music Center.  Ask for more info.
