Pam Suchecki USAI Volunteer of the Year.   Pam is a USAI Recreation League Commissioner, Rec Plus coach, travel parent, and also serves as on the USAI Board of Directors.  Pam assists with administrative functions of each program.  Pam has helped many a USAI family get registered and obtain the information they need about games and training.  Pam’s ability to communicate, organize, and promote are always done with a positive attitude and willingness to help our fellow members in any way.

Jeff Jackson is USAI Boys Travel Coach of the Year.  Jeff coaches the 2006 Boys Stars and Academy, and goes above and beyond to keep three 2006 boys teams operating as a cohesive unit in a way that meets the needs of all players in that age group. He is communicative, well organized, and positive, and his players thrive and excel under his leadership. In addition, he coaches his son’s Recreation team and runs the Club’s winter futsal league.  As USAI partnered with Dynamo this year for the 2006 boys, Coach Jackson was a voice of leadership in the transition.

William Jordan Nelson is Girls Travel Coach of the Year.  Jordan coaches the 2005 Girls Travel Team.  The team has made a 180 degree turnaround.  He took a team that was struggling with numbers and with the help of veteran Coach Dan Murphy, good team management, and engaged parents, created a positive experience for families and players.  Jordan created such an appealing environment that the team now has a waiting list for players! His positivity and encouragement of these players bodes well for the future of this age bracket with the USAI program.

Erica Salzman is Boys Travel Team Manager of the Year.  Erica is a longtime travel team manager of the 2003 boys team, provides leadership and mentors up and coming team managers just learning the ropes.  She is well organized, communicative, and positive, and always does a great job for the players, families, and coaches for whom she serves.

Amy Waters is Girls Travel Team Manager of the Year.  Amy has demonstrated calm and steady leadership of the 2007 Girls team.  Amy is well organized, communicative with the families on her team, exceeds the expected volunteer commitment, and fosters a positive environment for the players on the team. USAI knows the 2007 Girls team is in good hands and well cared for by the long time partnership of Manager Amy Waters and Coach Ken Williams.

DeAndre Martin is USAI Rec Coach of the Year.  DeAndre has served as a longtime Recreation League coach and is beloved by his players, most recently the Pike U13 Girls Crew. His boundless energy keeps players having fun and he is always there with words of encouragement rooted in a love for learning the game.

Katie Sommers is USAI Rec Coach of the Year.  Each Saturday Katie can be found displaying endless energy and optimism on the field for her teams.  She coached two teams this fall, a boys and a girls team, and was requested by more players than we could place with her.  Parents rely on her to create a positive soccer environment for their children and teach them soccer skills in the process.  Katie was a USAI Travel Coach for the 1992 and 1994 girls 18 years ago.

Dave Carlson is USAI Rec Coach of the Year.  Dave coached the Pike Chivas U10 Boys team and is a longtime USAI Rec Coach who has been making soccer fun for young players for years. His ability to keep the game fun and exciting is just what USAI asks out of a coach. He encourages each player to play as part of a team and do their best.

Randy Winston is USAI Rec Coach of the Year.  Randy coaches USAI Hendricks Galaxy U8 Girls team and gives players at USAI Avon Soccer Complex a wonderful experience as they begin their soccer journey. His energy and enthusiasm keeps trainings and games positive, upbeat, and fun!  During Rec Academy night, Randy was quick to invite countless players to join his training session, making sure all players felt welcome into the fun.

Stephan Vincent is USAI Rec Plus Coach of the Year.   Stephan coached the U14 Boys team this fall, and was beloved by players and families alike.  His well-organized and calm demeanor provided steady instruction and leadership to teen players eager to improve their skills.  Coach Vincent also coaches a Rec team and can be found on a soccer field just about any day of the week, always carrying a bag of gear and with players following not far behind.

Hector Reina is USAI Rec Plus Coach of the Year.   Hector is a longtime assistant coach for the USAI travel program, and was a welcome addition to the U16 Girls Rec Plus team this fall, bringing top level soccer coaching and a passion for the game to a great group of young players. In addition to teaching solid soccer skills, Coach Reina encouraged many players to join teams for tournaments and additional training, and advocates for players to pursue ways to elevate their game. He truly cares about each player developing to their maximum potential.

Silvia Estrada is USAI Volunteer of the Year.   Silvia is one of the top volunteers for USAI travel program representing the 2006 Boys Premier team. She volunteers countless hours at USAI hosted tournaments, field days, and is always quick to line fields or help in any way she can.

Maria Esquerre is USAI Volunteer of the Year.  Maria comes from a large family with many players in the club playing at the Rec, Rec Plus, and Travel level.  Maria volunteers at every opportunity she can. She lines fields until the sun goes down, she works in concession stands, in tournament headquarters tent, and as a hospitality driver during tournament. She and her children organized the large uniform barn.  This year she did all this volunteer work with a newborn baby strapped to her stomach and with a smile on her face.

Darren Pearson is USAI Volunteer of the Year.  Darren volunteers for USAI in more ways than one can count. He serves as an assistant coach and team manager for a U14 girls Rec Plus team, and spends every Saturday morning on the Rec fields helping in whatever way is needed. He gives rides to people in need on golf carts, assists with commissioner duties, works registration events, and serves on USAI Board of Directors leading the Recreation League.  Darren is a club leader always willing to roll up his sleeves to help.

Brenton Touloukian is USAI Young Male Referee of the Year.
Madelyn Pearson is USAI Young Female Referee of the Year.   Brenton and Madelyn regularly officiate Saturday morning Recreation League games with never ending pleasant personality and manner; and a professionalism and maturity beyond their years.  The Club deeply appreciates the dedication of Referee Touloukian and Referee Pearson.
